Fellaini coming good - Jagielka

Marouane Fellaini celebrates after heading Everton level against Manchester United
Fellaini's goal against Manchester United salvaged a vital point for Everton

Everton defender Phil Jagielka believes young midfielder and team mate Marouane Fellaini is beginning to adapt to life in the Premier League.

Fellaini, 20, the clubs' record signing at 15m, scored his second goal for the Blues in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Jagielka told BBC Radio Merseyside: "He's starting to have a laugh and I think he feels more relaxed.

"He came with a massive price tag, but he's getting better and better."

Everton's draw with Manchester United was only their third point from the last available 15 in the Premier League.

I think we are getting there slowly but surely, and the performance was a lot better

Phil Jagielka

Jagielka, 26, believes the manner in which his side claimed a point from the reigning Premier League and European Champions shows the Blues are beginning to turn a corner.

"I think we are getting there slowly but surely, and the performance was a lot better," he added.

"People were expecting us to get beat so there will be more pressure on the Bolton and Fulham games because these are the teams we need to beat if we want to start climbing the table."
