Darlington hope to sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan basis after Betrand Bossu was ruled out for six weeks.
Bossu, 25, broke a bone in his foot during the Quakers' win over Barnet on Tuesday night and needed a pain-killing injection to complete the game.
His understudy Sam Russell is injured so Darlington hope to sign a keeper before Saturday's game at Lincoln City.
Meanwhile, defender Joey Hutchinson will miss the rest of the season with cruciate knee ligament damage.
Hutchinson was injured in Darlington's Boxing Day draw with Carlisle.
