Fleming joins Quakers
Curtis Fleming
Manchester-born Fleming has 10 Republic of Ireland caps
Darlington have beaten off a host of other clubs to secure the signing of veteran defender Curtis Fleming.

The former Middlesbrough full-back, who left Crystal Palace at the end of last season, has signed a one-year contract.

Boss David Hodgson said of the 35-year-old: "Curtis has looked a cut above the rest in pre-season and he was one player we could not ignore.

"We're always looking to take the club forward and, with his experience, Curtis will help us achieve that."

Lens striker Ibrahima N'Diaye will not be joining, however, after being sent home for breaking a club curfew.
