New deal for Chester boss
Chester boss Mark Wright
Chester manager Mark Wright has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

Wright, 40, who guided City to the Conference title last season, said: "These are exciting times for the club and I'm delighted to part of them.

"My goal is to make Chester a force in the League. We have a chance to push this club in the right direction.

"After what Doncaster achieved last season, no-one can underestimate clubs that come up from the Conference any more," he told the Evening Leader.

Chairman Stephen Vaughan said: "We've been trying to tie Mark down to a deal all year and we realise that he is ambitious.

"If a club from a higher league does want to talk to him then I won't stand in his way.

"I want Mark to manage this club in a higher division because we are aiming high."
