Glennon unhappy with deal offer
Goalkeeper Matty Glennon
Glennon was unhappy with the contract offer
Carlisle keeper Matty Glennon says the new deal he was offered was unacceptably low.

"I could not pay my mortgage with what I was being offered," Glennon told the News & Star newspaper.

"I found it amazing that I was being asked to take a 40% wage cut after we'd won promotion.

"I'd talked to manager Paul Simpson about taking a cut if we remained in the Conference but we had never agreed on that figure."
