Cardiff boss Dave Jones is still seeking to strengthen his squad
Cardiff boss Dave Jones has hit out at Joe Ledley's agent for suggesting the midfielder will probably leave the Bluebirds on a free transfer.
Ledley's agent, David Baldwin, has said that the Wales star will see out the last 18 months of his Cardiff contract.
"Joe's agent has come out and it would be nice if he spoke to us and tell us what his intentions are," Jones said.
"But this is something we have to live with, so it should be what we want to do and what Joe wants to do."
Last week Baldwin told BBC Sport Wales that it was "most likely" that Ledley would see out his contract with Cardiff before moving on as a free agent.
Baldwin also claimed that Cardiff have not yet offered to enter into new contract talks with Ledley, who has won 24 Wales caps.
There's so much more to come from us, mainly because the players are getting to know each other

There has been speculation that Ledley could be sold in the January transfer window, a move that could help fund the permanent signings of loanees Michael Chopra, Wayne Routledge, Eddie Johnson and maybe Tom Heaton.
Sunderland striker Chopra, who the Bluebirds sold to the Wearsiders for £5m in 2007, limped out of Saturday's 2-1 win at Ipswich.
He was replaced in the 35th minute at Portman Road by Fulham's American forward Johnson.
Winger Routledge has earned rave reviews since arriving from Aston Villa, although Manchester United goalkeeper Heaton's Ninian Park stay has been stymied by injury.
But boss Jones says he does not want to lose any of the personnel currently at his disposal - a mix that sees Cardiff sitting fifth in the Championship.
"I want to keep them all," Jones said. "But again we've been prudent in the way the football club's run, we have to keep doing that.
"I want to bring more in and keep what I've got, don't think my chairman (Peter Ridsdale) will be too happy!"
Cardiff's current form was underlined by the 2-1 win at Portman Road - Jay Bothroyd and Gabor Gyepes on target - the Bluebirds' first success away to Ipswich for 62 years.
"But there's good strength around the place and to come here and play and get the three points just shows you - and these haven't been beaten here since August or something - it's a good result," Jones added.
"I think there's so much more to come from us, mainly because the players are getting to know each other.
"And that's the most important thing, because when you bring in lots of players - Wayne, Gabor, even Chops coming back, you know, the surroundings and everything else are different - and you've got to take time to settle in and that's what they're doing."
