Clarets boss admits Howard talks
Steve Howard
Howard has fired Luton into contention for promotion this term
Burnley manager Steve Cotterill admits he has held talks with the agent of Luton Town striker Steve Howard.

Howard, 28, has scored 18 times for the League One leaders this season but his current contract expires this summer.

"When a player's out of contract they're free to go and talk to anyone," said Cotterill.

"So I won't say I haven't had a conversation with his agent, but that doesn't mean to say anything is happening now."
