Wilkins labels referee 'a joke'

Brighton manager Dean Wilkins has criticised referee Darren Deadman following their defeat at Huddersfield.

Both sides were awarded penalties in the 2-1 defeat which ended Brighton's two-match winning streak. The Albion remain a point adrift of the play-offs.

Wilkins told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "I don't like criticising referees but I think he was a joke.

"It was every decision, all night. Their player Chris Brandon even admits he dived for the penalty."
