Bees plan to expand stadium
Brentford have announced plans to increase the capacity of their Griffin Park home from 12,500 to 17,000.

The Bees hope to move to a new site at Lionel Road - but see this plan as a "fall-back" position and have submitted an application to Hounslow Council.

Director Doug White told a fans' forum that capacity could rise to 14,000 within their existing boundaries.

However, any further increase would involve land purchases at each corner of the Ealing Road end of the ground.
