Ba clinches Bolton move
Ibrahim Ba
Ba will learn whether he has a longer contract in December
Bolton have received international clearance to sign former AC Milan midfielder Ibrahim Ba on a three-month deal.

The 30-year-old Frenchman earned a move to the Premiership after impressing Bolton boss Sam Allardyce in a five-week trial.

"He's a fantastic acquisition to this football club," Allardyce told the club's website.

"He's proved himself in top-flight European football over the last seven or eight years and we are confident we can get the best out of him."

Former France international Ba joined Milan for 8m in 1997 but made just one league appearance last season.

Bolton will decide in December whether to extend his contract until the end of the season.

"Ibrahim has shown a prowess in front of goal that we have missed so far this season," said Bolton's assistant boss Phil Brown.
