SOUNESS'S VIEW
|
Blackburn boss Graeme Souness revealed his anger at drawing with Birmingham, believing the visitors' goal to have led from a push on Lucas Neill.
"We're disappointed because he stumbled in a way which was very obviously a push in the back," said Souness.
"That's what my eyes told me at the time, that's what I believe happened and from that, they've equalised.
"I didn't think it was a goal at the time but I think that's a fitting end to a frustrating season."
Souness was not a happy man full-stop despite seeing his side take their haul over the final six games of the season to 13 points.
He added: "It wasn't a particularly good game of football. First half, we weren't at it at all but we found ourselves 1-0 up.
"Second half we started brightly and caused them some problems.
"They weren't really causing us any problems, although they started to have a bit more of the ball when they made their changes."
