Blackburn defender Jay McEveley is set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury.

The 18-year-old dislocated a knee-cap, while on loan at Burnley in the New Year, and has had to undergo surgery.

He will be out for at least two months and is unlikely to figure for the first team this campaign.

Meanwhile, new Norwegian signing Martin Andresen may make his debut at the weekend after scoring in the 4-0 reserve team win against Birmingham.
