Bath City have signed former Cambridge United striker Lee Phillips.

The Cornwall-born 29-year-old began his career at Plymouth before moves to Weymouth, Exeter City, Torquay United and Rushden & Diamonds.

Phillips, who was let go by the U's in April, will make his bow in Wednesday's friendly with Bristol Rovers.

The side will be without midfielders Marc Canham, who is studying for a Uefa licence, and Adam Connolly, who is getting over a knee operation.
