Hendrie may appeal over dismissal
Lee Hendrie
Aston Villa may seek to overturn Lee Hendrie's sending off in the 2-2 friendly draw with Tamworth.

Assistant boss Roy Aitken claimed the midfielder was "hard done by" after being dismissed for tangling with Kyle Storer, who also saw red.

Hendrie faces a three-match ban and missing the start of the season if the decision is upheld.

Aitken told the club's website: "We're seriously considering an appeal and we'll look at it in more detail."
