Somner completes Aldershot move
Matt Somner
Somner had joined Cambridge from Brentford in February
Aldershot have signed former Brentford and Cambridge United defender Matt Somner on a one-year deal.

Somner was offered a new deal by the U's at the end of last season but joined Bristol Rovers earlier this month on non-contract terms.

The 22-year-old was a pre-season target for Aldershot boss Terry Brown and he has eventually landed his man.

Somner will provide some much needed cover to Brown's first team squad and is available for action this weekend.
