Queen's Park 1-0 Albion Rovers

Barry Douglas's strike four minutes from time ensured Queen's Park tightened their grip on a play-off place in the Scottish Third Division.

Spiders keeper Mark McGeown conceded an early penalty, fouling Marc McCusker, but he saved Paul McLeod's spot-kick.

The hosts laboured in front of goal as they struggled to test Albion keeper Jamie Ewings for long spells.

But Douglas volleyed in Martin McBride's corner from close range to give the hosts maximum points.
