Clyde 1-2 Stirling Albion


Clyde were relegated from the Second Division after crashing to a home defeat by Stirling Albion at Broadwood.

The Bully Wee needed a win to retain hopes of beating the drop but they fell behind in four minutes when Scott Robertson headed past Callum Reidford.

Willie Sawyers volleyed a superb equaliser and Reidford saved Christopher Aitken's penalty after Iain Russell was fouled by Alan Lithgow.

Russell headed the winner 10 minutes from time to seal Clyde's fate.

Clyde: Reidford, McLachlan, Kinniburgh, Lithgow, Neil McGowan, Higgins (White 55), Gramovics, Stevenson, Strachan, Sawyers, John Stewart (Howarth 57). Subs Not Used: Allan, Park, Borisovs.
