Arbroath 1-0 Stenhousemuir

SFL

An Alan Brazil penalty on the stroke of half-time was enough to lift Arbroath six points clear of Stenhousemuir in the promotion play-off race.

Red Lichties captain Barry Sellars was pushed by Patrick Malley and Brazil sent keeper Ally Brown the wrong way.

The away side controlled second half possession in search of an equaliser but failed to create any clear chances.

But Stenhousemuir's Ian Harty received a second yellow card after tussling on the deck with Jamie Bishop.
