Ayr United 2-2 Airdrie
Around 500 Airdrie fans stood outside Somerset Park and refused to pay their way in as they protested against Ayr chairman Bill Barr, who they allege is preventing the takeover of their club by Steve Archibald.

On the pitch Airdrie had the better for the first half and deservedly took the lead through Fabrice Moreau's 40th minute header.

The sides traded goals at the start of the second half with Gary Teale firing home for Ayr, before Jesus Sanjuan restored the visitors' lead less than sixty seconds later with a 25 yard volley.

However, the home side continued to fight and claimed a deserved point when fromer Hibs defender Paul Lovering headed home his first goal for the Honest Men on 56 minutes.

Ayr United: Nelson, Campbell, Hughes, Craig, McEwan, Wilson, Scally, Lovering, Teale, Annand, Grady.

Subs: Renwick, Sharp, Reynolds, Bradford, Rovde.

Airdrie: Broto, Armstrong, McAlpine, Brady, Forrest, Alfonso, Moreau, Sanjuan, Pilvi, Calderon, Fernandez.

Subs: McGuire, Taylor, Elliot, Prest, Gonzalez.

Referee: T Brown
