Morton were level just two minutes later as Brian Graham raced clear to clip the ball over Kevin Cuthbert.
Peter MacDonald turned in a neat shot on 65 minutes and Rocco Quinn fired home from six-yards late in the game to set up a meeting with Dunfermline.
