Lawro's FA Cup predictions

By Mark Lawrenson
BBC Sport football expert

Man City v Tottenham (1300 GMT)

Manchester City have become draw specialists in recent weeks.

They are not playing badly and Robbie Fowler could be back this weekend.

Spurs have won their last four games but I think they might come unstuck here.

Verdict: 2-1

Nottingham Forest v Sheffield United (1400 GMT)

Nottingham Forest boss Paul Hart
Forest boss Hart needs a win
Forest are struggling in the league but this game could provide some welcome relief.

But I don't think their form is as bad as their results suggest.

Although this match is between two Division One sides it would still be a good scalp for Forest against the high-flying Blades.

It won't be easy for Forest, as the Blades compete hard and never know when they are beaten, but a win for the home team might have a positive effect on their home form.

Verdict: 2-1

Everton v Fulham

Fulham were defensively awful at Newcastle on Monday.

They will face another tough examination against Everton and Chris Coleman's team might come badly unstuck against the likes of Wayne Rooney, Duncan Ferguson and Tomasz Radzinski.

David Moyes' team are creating chances for fun and it won't be long until they really start finding the net.

Verdict: 2-0
