Welcome back, wonderkid Walcott
One, two, three: Theo Walcott celebrates a stunning hat-trick for England in Croatia; Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may leave his 19-year-old on the bench at Blackburn
Arsenal fans will have been delighted by Theo Walcott's display in an England shirt as they thumped Croatia but now they will be looking for a similar return in his club colours.

What better way to shorten a long trip to Lancashire than the prospect of seeing Walcott terrorise the Blackburn defence?

But by the looks of it Arsene Wenger could spoil the party and rest the 19-year-old. "The potential is there - but do not make him Thierry Henry before he is Thierry Henry," said the French manager.

Intriguingly, the Gunners provide Blackburn boss Paul Ince's first test against the 'big four', so what price Walcott being unleashed from the bench? Whatever his role in the game young Theo is sure to receive a rapturous welcome from all sides of the ground at Ewood Park.

After all, he is the bright new dawn of English football, isn't he?
