Lincoln 2-1 Bradford

Lincoln extended their winning run to three with a 2-1 victory over luckless Bradford, now without a win in six.

Luke O'Brien's weak shot was easily saved and Gareth Evans fired wide from close in as Bradford started brightly.

But the Imps made the Bantams pay when Brian Gilmour set up Chris Herd with a neat pass before the Scot held off three defenders to make it 2-0.

Michael Boulding fired in to give City hope after the Lincoln defence failed to clear O'Brien's cross.

Imps manager Chris Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire:

"I think we just about deserved it, although they went for broke at the end and pushed everybody up.

"Had we gone 3-0 up it would have been comfortable, but I don't think it ever is at Lincoln.

"Going into games now, we're in a position where we feel we can win.

"We're not the finished article by any means, but we are moving forwards and we are creating chances.

"We are a young team but I'll take young vibrant players, who'll want to work their socks off. "
