Dean Bowditch's goal gave Yeovil Town a deserved win over Swindon.

Chances were few and far between in a first half that was affected by swirling gales, but Swindon's Michael Rose saw two free-kicks tipped over.

The home side started the second period brightly but were reduced to 10 men after Rose stamped on Ed Upson.

The Glovers took full advantage and picked up their third win on the bounce when Bowditch poked home after Sam Williams' shot came back off the bar.

Swindon manager Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire:
"From looking like we're going to win the game, second half we have the sending-off and it changed the game completely.

"But at the same time the goal that we've conceded is a very poor goal and I think that's been our problem all the time.

"I didn't see the red card incident, but if he's done what the ref says he has, then it's a sending-off."

Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset:

"It was brilliant, we're catching teams, we're roping them in, and we're really enjoying doing it.

"We've still got a way to go to get ourselves out of the bottom four.

"We know where we are in the league and all we're doing at the moment is concentrating on churning out clean sheets. We've had another one today and I couldn't be happier."
