A first-minute goalkeeping blunder by Yeovil keeper Alex McCarthy set Bristol Rovers on their way to victory.
McCarthy took too much time over an early clearance and Jo Kuffour charged it down to put it in the net.
Yeovil had chances to equalise before Rovers made it 2-0 when Dan Jones set up Paul Heffernan to poke home.
Five minutes later it was all over as the home side failed to deal with a loose ball in the box and Kuffour netted his second goal from 10 yards.
Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol:
"I was confident once we got the first goal, which was from a great bit of work ethic from Jo Kuffour.
"I thought once we got that goal, they'd have to come out even more and try to attack us and then we could pick them off on counter attacks, and we did that to devastating effect.
"We were desperate for a clean sheet, which makes four in five games."
Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset:
"I thought during the first 15 minutes we were scintillating. We put them on the back foot and got plenty of crosses into the box, but Alex's(McCarthy) mistake seemed to knock us a little bit.
"From then on I think we just fell to pieces all over the pitch and I don't think we could claw our way back into the game.
"We didn't play a clever game and to be fair Bristol Rovers were good on the day."
