Third-place Swansea City extended their unbeaten run in the Championship to six thanks to goals from Scott Sinclair, Darren Pratley and Joe Allen.
Sinclair struck his 11th goal in 13 games after six minutes turning in Angel Rangel's ball from four yards.
Pratley added the second on 71 minutes meeting Andrea Orlandi's precise corner at the near post.
Allen rounded off the win soon after side-footing home Nathan Dyer's pass to send Crystal Palace bottom.
The Eagles have now made their worst start for a decade having won one of their last eight games.
They rarely threatened the Swansea goal with Kieran Djilali coming closest by forcing Dorus de Vries into a save and later sending another effort wide.
Rodgers pleased with Swansea win
But Palace found themselves chasing the game almost from the off after conceding that early Sinclair strike which came from a quickly-taken free kick after Edgar Davids had fouled Allen.
Pratley quickly picked out Rangel who was able to deliver into the box which Sinclair met at close range to find the net.
Palace enjoyed more possession after that, but really did not test De Vries, aside from that Djilali effort, and were out of sight when Pratley added the Swans' second with 19 minutes to go.
Allen made sure of the win 10 minutes from time starting the move, finding Dyer who laid back off to him inside the box to side-foot home.
Swansea have now gone seven hours and 35 minutes without conceding a goal in the league, the last coming in the 3-2 win over Watford on 28 September.
