Coventry 2-2 Nottm Forest

Joe Garner grabbed a second-half equaliser as struggling Nottingham Forest secured a point at Coventry.

Garner glanced home Lewis McGugan's fine free-kick to ensure Forest did not drop to the bottom of the table.

Elliott Ward put the Sky Blues ahead when he tapped in after a flowing move before Robert Earnshaw equalised with a diving header from Chris Cohen's cross.

Clinton Morrison blasted home from six yards to restore Coventry's lead but Garner rescued a point after the break.

Lee Camp made a great save to deny Michael Mifsud a winner for the Sky Blues in the final minute.

And that meant Coventry, who climbed a place to 17th, have now gone six home games without a win for Ricoh regulars to celebrate.

Coventry manager Chris Coleman:
"I could be sitting here celebrating a win but Lee Camp has made a fantastic save.

"Having said that, I could be disappointed that we have got nothing from the game.

"At training yesterday, we only had 12 senior players fit so it's been difficult. I am hoping the next transfer window is going to be fruitful for us."

Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood:
"I know the players are playing for me because I only need to see what they do on the pitch and the amount of acres they cover.

"What I see excites me and lifts me. They believe they are good enough to stay in this division and we only find that out at the end of the season.

"The players have always had belief and they're not scared of anything but we've made some simple mistakes again today which have cost us points - and we've done that in the past. We need to eradicate them."
