Hayes 0-3 Doncaster
Doncaster cruised to a comfortable 3-0 away victory over Hayes in a mid-table battle at Church Road.

The game was essentially wrapped up when Ryan Spencer handled a goal-bound header on the Hayes line.

Spencer was sent from the field and Carl Alford coolly converted the penalty, sending home keeper Matt Hodson the wrong way.

Rovers had taken the lead in the fifth minute when a long throw into the Hayes penalty area was headed into his own net by debutant Colin Pluck.

With 10-man Hayes forced to attack at 2-0 down, the visitors opened up their defence at will.

Rovers eventually completed the scoring in the 64th minute.

Mike Turner raced clear of the home defence, held off the challenge of Dean Coppard and slotted under the stranded Hodson.

Hayes: M. Hodson, R. Spencer, Coppard, Pluck, Watts, Flynn, Molesley, McKimm, Moore, D. Stevens, Baptiste. Subs: Barnes, Telemaque, Preston, Gallen, Gothard.

Doncaster: Richardson, Marples, Atkins, Miller, Barnard, Kelly, Paterson, D. Penney, McIntyre, Campbell, Turner. Subs: Alford, Shaw, Caudwell, Halliday, Warrington.

Referee: K Reynolds (East Barnet).
