Kent football results and summary

Dartford are level on points with Blue Square Bet South leaders Woking following a 3-1 win over Tonbridge.

Elliot Bradbrook, Danny Harris and Charlie Sheringham all scored in front of 1,385 at Princes Park.

Dartford manager Tony Burman told BBC Radio Kent: "The most important thing is we gained three points. It was a decent game."

Bromley and Welling drew 1-1 while Dover were held to their fourth straight home draw by Havant.

Luis Cumbers gave Welling a second-half lead but Bromley levelled with five minutes to go. It leaves Welling third in the table, three points off the lead.

Dover Athletic have won just one of their last nine games following their 1-1 draw with Havant and Waterlooville.

Donovan Simmonds scored their equaliser after coming on as a substitute.

The defeat for Tonbridge at Dartford means they are 15th in the Blue Square Bet South table. Frannie Collin's 10th goal of the season, from the penalty spot, was a mere consolation as his side were already three goals down by then.

Tonbridge assistant manager Alex O'Brien said: "Sometimes I question the supporters' health. Either we're very good or we give teams sloppy goals. We gave away a goal within 15 minutes and to come to Dartford to try and get something is a big ask. We pushed but we can't start sloppy."

Maidstone United made it seven straight wins as they won 1-0 at Chipstead in Ryman South. It is an additional boost for the Stones, for whom work begins on their new ground in the town this week.

Manager Jay Saunders said: "A lot of teams will struggle here but we came here and stood up to that. We kept a clean sheet and it's very pleasing. We should have been two or three up but we made it hard for ourselves.

"I used to go and watch us in Maidstone. I was just saying to my wife it would be good to take my little boy to go and watch Maidstone in Maidstone.

"A lot of people at the schools round here, when I say I'm manager of Maidstone they say 'who's that', which is a shame. Maidstone as a town should have that club and people round here should be able to go and watch them."

Faversham and Sittingbourne both won all-Kent matches in Ryman South. Faversham beat Whitstable 2-0, inflicting Whitstable's seventh straight defeat on them.

Sittingbourne beat Folkestone, who started the day in third place, 2-0.

Six Kent clubs won in the second qualifying round of the FA Vase, moving them one step nearer Wembley.

They include Deal Town, who won the competition in 2000. They beat Shoreham 2-1.

Herne Bay replaced Canterbury City at the top of the Kent League with a 3-0 win away to Cray Valley while Bly Spartans' lead at the top of the Kent Invicta League has been cut to four points by Hollands and Blair.
