118 mins: The tempo of the match has slowed down again - with penalties a distinct possibility.

112 mins: Cameroon win a corner, which Njitap Geremi crosses into the penalty area only for Ivory Coast keeper Jean-Jacques Tizie to easily collect.

106: The game starts again.

105 mins: The first half of extra-time ends with the scores still level, though at least there has now been two goals. After an awful first 90 minutes, extra-time has so far been a great improvement.

104 mins: Emmanuel Eboue is booked and will miss the semi-final if Ivory Coast win this game.

101 mins: Cameroon win a free-kick 21 yards from goal, which Njitap Geremi drives into the Ivory Coast goal.

95 mins: GOAL Cameroon 1-1 Ivory Coast
Albert Ze Meyong
puts the Indomitable Lions level, slotting the ball past Jean-Jacques Tizie after Daniel Ngom Kome plays him in.

94 mins: The game has come to live, with Njitap Geremi smashing a shot against the crossbar from distance.

91 mins: GOAL Cameroon 0-1 Ivory Coast
Substitute Bakari Kone
puts his team in front with a right-foot shot from 14 yards. The chance came seconds after Arouna Kone smashed a shot against the crossbar.

1901: Extra-time begins with Cameroon kicking off.

1856: Full-time Cameroon 0-0 Ivory Coast
The end of normal time and, as with the earlier game between Nigeria and Tunisia, the tie goes to extra-time.

89 mins: Thimothee Atouba almost snatches victory for Cameroon but his long-range strike is tipped over the crossbar.

87 mins: The pace of the game has slowed down. Both teams seem to have resigned themselves to extra-time. Ivory Coast coach Henri Michel brings on Bakari Kone for Yaya Toure.

82 mins: Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure makes superb contact with a free-kick from very long range, but his strike flies over the Cameroon crossbar.

80 mins: Cameroon make a change, with Rudolph Douala replacing Salomon Olembe.

77 mins: Ivory Coast finally get in behind the Cameroon defence but by the time support arrives Didier Drogba's options are limited and the chance is gone.

71 mins: Drogba has been heavily involved over the last few minutes and a corner drops invitingly for him but he scuffs his volley.

69 mins: Ivory Coast striker Drogba finally gets a shot off on goal but Souleymanou Hamidou saves.

65 mins: Drogba lays a free-kick off to Arthur Boka, whose strike hits the wall. Ivory Coast have struggled to create any openings close to goal.

61 mins: Drogba attempts an over-head kick that never really threatens the Cameroon goal but is deflected out for a corner. The subsequent cross is far too close to Souleymanou Hamidou, who easily collects.

57 mins: Cameroon's Daniel Ngom Kome forces a save with an angled strike from the edge of the area.

55 mins: Cameroon almost score. Rigobert Song makes a great contact with Njitap Geremi's corner but his header goes over the crossbar.

54 mins: The minutes tick away. The match continues to a be a poor, fragmented affair with no real flow at all.

49 mins: Ivory Coast win a corner after another swift attack. Lots of pushing and shoving the box, but when the ball does come in it is quickly cleared.

47 mins: Challenges continue to fly in, so no change from the opening 45 minutes. There is no time at all to dwell on the ball.

1806: The second-half starts with the Elephants, wearing orange, kicking off.

1749: Half-time Cameroon 0-0 Ivory Coast

39 mins: The first clear chance of the game falls to Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o, but after cutting inside he is thwarted by a great save from Jean-Jacques Tizie.

33 mins: It has been a physical game so far and Cameroon's Pierre Webo is stretchered off to be replaced by Albert Ze Meyong.

36 mins: Kolo Toure is booked for a crunching late tackle on Samuel Eto'o. There is nothing subtle about the Ivory Coast's method of trying to contain Eto'o.

31 mins: Both teams waste chances. First Arouna Kone makes a poor contact with a shot for the Ivory Coast and then Indomitable Lion Samuel Eto'o fails to connect properly with a free header.

25 mins: Didier Drogba has a sight of goal after Andre Bikey misses a long punt up field, but the Cameroon defender recovers well and makes a crucial challenge as the Ivory Coast striker prepares to shoot.

20 mins: Niggling tackles, rather than clear openings, have been the story of the game so far. Ivory Coast win a free-kick, but Rigobert Song heads the cross clear.

13 mins: Ivory Coast keeper Jean-Jacques Tizie collects a cross. He has looked nervous in the opening minutes and unsure of his handling.

8 mins: Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba heads wide after a good cross from the left. The Elephants have looked composed in possession so far and seem to have settled faster than their opponents.

3 mins: There are signs in the opening minutes that Ivory Coast are going to try and counter the threat posed by Samuel Eto'o with an extremely physical style of play.

1701: The second quarter-final of the day starts with Cameroon in their familiar green, red and yellow, while the Ivory Coast are in orange.

1645 GMT: Cameroon defender Andre Bikey continues to deputise for the injured Raymond Kalla.
