With eight games to go, Mallorca are 11th in the Spanish league table.

The Austrian league has already been decided yesterday with Austria Vienna winning the title for the 22nd time with five games to go.

Plenty of African goals in Turkey; making the headlines were Egyptian Hassan Ahmed Kemal, who scored twice for Genclerbirligi in the 3-3 draw with Altay.

And Cameroonian Emmanuel Owona scored a last-gasp equaliser for Altay in the 91st minute.

Ghanaian striker Augustine Arhinful scored one of the goals for Ankaragucu as they beat Diyarbakirspor 3-1.

Tunisian midfielder Riadh Bouazizi opened the scoring for Gaziantepspor, who came from two goals down in the first five minutes to beat Istanbulspor 4-3.

Ghanaian skipper, Stephen Appiah pulled off a late equaliser for Brescia against Juventus, but just three minutes later Del Piero made sure Juventus prevailed in a 2-1 win.
