Bristol Rovers 2-0 Barnet

Bristol Rovers are through to the LDV Vans trophy southern quarter-finals after a comfortable win against Barnet.

Jamie Forrester hit the post after five minutes before curling home a superb free-kick from 25 yards three minutes before the break to put Rovers ahead.

Just 11 minutes after the interval, Lee Thorpe broke clear to confidently shoot past Ricky Millard and secure victory for the hosts.

Substitute Lewis Haldane almost made it three but saw his shot saved late on.
