Rain frustrates Derbys and Gloucs

Derbyshire v Gloucestershire
6-9 June (Play starts 1100 BST)
CLOSE OF PLAY, DAY TWO: Gloucestershire 58-1

Derbyshire and Gloucestershire were again frustrated by the weather as rain forced an early finish to day two of the their County Championship match.

After the first day at Chesterfield was washed out, only 16.3 overs were possible once the game got underway.

Gloucestershire, having won the toss and elected to bat, lost Kadeer Ali to Ian Hunter in only the second over.

But Grant Hodnett (28 no) and Hamish Marshall (30 no) guided them to 58-1 before play was abandoned at 1430 BST.
