About the BBC Sport site

The BBC Sport homepage contains the latest sports news and also has links down the left-hand side to the main sub-sections where you will find more extensive reports.

You have a choice of two homepages - the UK version for domestic readers, or the World Edition, which has a more international feel.

There are also homepages for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland - you can select these through the links on the left of the page.

Clicking on any of the sports listed on the left takes you to that section's homepage.

Several sections are then split into further sub-sections - so football, for instance, is divided into various different competitions or topics.

All sports sections also contain invitations to have your say on the latest news and action by contributing to our 606 site - a new way of creating content and interacting with BBC Sport and Radio Five Live.

The new 606 is designed for any sports fan who wants to express themselves about their sport, club or team and the site is run in conjunction with BBC Radio Five Live. Just click on the 606 link on the left of the page.

If, while you are looking at one sport, you want to move to another then use the quick links dropdown menu or the list of links at the bottom of every page.

Lower down on the left are links to our sister sites, BBC News and BBC Weather, as well as additional services such as the latest video, audio & photographs, TV & radio listings and games.

Across the middle and at the bottom of the homepages are links to topical features, competitions, latest 606 articles, our best audio or video and the Sport Editors' blog.

The blog is a central place where editors from across BBC Sport engage directly with the audience about this website, TV and radio programmes and other news.

There are also links to our Fun and Games features and our Academy - for tips from the stars on playing a host of different sports plus information on how to get involved.

You can search our site by entering keywords in the box at the top right of the page. For detailed information click the Searching our archive link on the right of this page.
