CBBC presenter Ortis has news of the Passion for Sport 2001 winners. Well, you certainly did us proud. Thousands of you entered our Passion for Sport Award 2001. We've had a great time watching your videos, listening to your cassettes, looking at your artwork and reading your words. What was clear from so many excellent entries was how much you all enjoy your sport – watching, playing and supporting – so keep it up! It was a hard task choosing our winners, but we finally got there in the end. Eighty-four runners-up will get a certificate signed by yours truly. Our twelve regional winners will be rubbing shoulders with Sue Barker, Ally McCoist, John Parrott and other sporting celebrities as they watch A Question of Sport being recorded. And our overall winner for 2001 will get a visit to their school from Olympic silver medallist Darren Campbell and a cool £250. So why don't you click here to take a look at our top twelve and see if you're one of them? And remember – keep up your Passion for Sport! |
