Matthew Stevens came through the ranks at a similar time to Paul Hunter, but burst onto the scene a little quicker than Paul.

He’s quite dedicated and a very nice lad as well - a really good, solid player.

He’s got an excellent ability to score heavily over a period of time, he can string heavy breaks together for four or five frames, and he’s a dangerous opponent.
