For me, if John Higgins turns up and he’s in the best form he can be, he is the one everybody has to beat.
He won the UK Championship earlier in the season 10-4 against Mark Williams when Mark was playing well.
The disappointing thing I think for John this year is that his 'B' game hasn’t quite been as good as it used to be.
Even when he wasn’t at his best, he was still capable of beating the others but it hasn’t quite happened that way this year.
But if he turns up and his 'A' game is in force, everybody’s got John Higgins to beat.
