Cantona's karate kick: Your memories
On 27 January 1995, Manchester United's Eric Cantona was banned from playing football and fined 20,000 for a kung fu-style attack on a fan.

The club relegated Cantona to the bench for nine months for lashing out at Matthew Simmons at a Crystal Palace game two days previously.

The star striker was also stripped of his captaincy of the French national side and was later sentenced to 120 hours community service for the attack.

Can you remember the incident? Were you in the crowd or watching on television?
