Cannabis bush worth £1,500 seized

A cannabis bush worth at least £1,500 has been found by police at a home in Shropshire.

West Mercia Police carried out the raid in Station Wharf, Much Wenlock, on Friday afternoon.

They arrested a man on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply. He was later bailed pending further police investigations.

The force said tackling drugs was identified by residents as a local policing priority in a recent survey.

Anyone with information about this incident or other drugs related crimes should contact police or call Crimestoppers anonymously.
