Netherlands 3 Mexico 2 (February 24)
Three goals in three minutes brought the Netherlands victory over a depleted Mexican side in a World Cup warm-up match at Miami's Pro Player stadium.
The game was a dress rehearsal for when the two sides meet in World Cup Group E on June 25.
The Dutch, who beat the United States 2-0 at the same venue three days earlier, took the lead when Patrick Kluivert knocked home a right-foot shot inside the penalty area in the 17th minute.
The Mexican manager, Manuel Lapuente, starting out with regulars such as Duilio Davino, Cuauhtemoc Blanco and Francisco Palencia on the bench, fielded a less experienced team but brought on Blanco and Palencia to help his side fight back as the Dutch lost their rhythm in the second-half.
In the 65th minute Manuel Abundis chested down a cross for Palencia to drive the ball low into the net.
Alberto Garcia Aspe, who was booked in the 41st minute, made it 3-2 with a penalty after Blanco was brought down in the area by Ernst Faber.
