U2 track to make its radio debut

Get On Your Boots, the first single taken from U2's forthcoming new album will receive its radio premiere on Monday 19 January.

The track will be debuted on Chris Moyles' breakfast show between 6.30-10am.

The release - available to download from 15 February - is the first to be lifted from No Line On The Horizon.

The album will be the Dublin band's 12th studio album and was recorded in Morocco, Dublin, New York and London.

The follow up to 2004's How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb will be released on 2 March.

The LP was recorded with producers Brian Eno, Danny Lanois and Steve Lillywhite after initial sessions with producer Rick Rubin were aborted.

In addition, a digipak version of the release will feature a 'companion' film by acclaimed director Anton Corbijn.

The cover artwork for the album is an image of the sea meeting the sky by Japanese artist and photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto.
