Killers announce 2009 tour dates

The Killers

The Killers have announced plans to play a major UK tour in 2009, including two London dates at the O2 Arena.

The Las Vegas band, who will release their new album Day & Age on 24 November, will hit the road for 10 shows in February.

Tickets are due to go on sale at 10am on 10 October.

Meanwhile, the band are due to showcase their new album when they play a special Radio 1 gig at Royal Albert Hall in London on 3 November.

The whole gig will be broadcast live on Radio 1 on Zane Lowe's show on the night of the the gig.

Their UK tour kicks off at the O2 arena on 23-24 February and takes in further dates at arenas in Birmingham (26), Cardiff (28), Sheffield (March 2) , Nottingham (3), Aberdeen (5), Glasgow (6), Newcastle (7) and Manchester (9).
