Manics agree to play one-off gig
Manic Street Preachers have agreed to play play a one-off gig at the Forever Heavenly festival on London's Southbank in September.
The Welsh band will only play a six song set list, which will include hits such as Motown Junk and Starlover.
All the tracks they will perform were recorded for the Heavenly label prior to signing with Sony in 1991.
The gig, which also features Doves, takes place at the Royal Festival Hall on 12 September.
The event will be the band's last live commitment before going into the studio to start work on their ninth studio album.
Winners of this year's Ivor Novello Best Contemporary Song award, Cherry Ghost complete the bill.
