Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley has given birth to a daughter, called Coco Lux.

The child is the 43-year-old's fourth child with husband, Virgin executive Steve Morton and weighed in at 8lbs 12oz (3.96kg) yesterday.

The couple already have a daughter called India, 16, and two sons, Jude, nine, and Cass, seven.

Jo Whiley, who presents Radio 1's mid-morning show between 10am and 12.45pm, said: "The whole family is very much smitten with Coco."

It's not the first baby for a DJ at Radio 1 this year.

Afternoon presenter Edith Bowman gave birth to her first child, a baby boy called Rudy Brae Bowman Smith, in June.
