Lily 'happy to be a Page Three girl'

As Lily Allen hit the party scene in Cannes on Thursday night she wasn't bothered by the topless pictures of her in the papers at home in the UK.

The Smile star was snapped diving off rocks and swimming at a mega posh hotel on the French Riviera just wearing bikini bottoms.

Twenty four hours later she was at a party with the cast of How To Lose Friends And Alienate People, the new Simon Pegg movie.

She told Newsbeat it's a big fuss over nothing.

She said: "I've got nothing to be ashamed of about my body. We've all got them.

"My manager left a message on my assistant's phone saying 'Uh, I don't know if you know but Lily's boobs are all over the newspapers.'

"I heard I was a Page Three girl. 'Lily, 23, from London.' Finally!"

Her dad, Keith Allen, is also in Cannes to promote his new documentary about Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed.

Lily's not taking it all too seriously though.

She added: "To be honest I'm not here for Cannes. I'm here for this party, to see my dad's film and then go back home again.

"It's great. Dress up, have a laugh, have a few drinks."
