Muse announce autumn tour in UK
Dominic Howard, Matthew Bellamy and Christopher Wolstenholme from Muse
Muse are also supporting U2 in America in September

Muse have announced a string of UK arena shows beginning on 4 November.

The Devon band will play gigs in Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Birmingham and conclude with two nights at London's O2 Arena.

The group's forthcoming fifth album is titled The Resistance and is expected to be released this autumn.

Tickets for the arena shows will go on sale from 9am on 5 June and are part of a 30-date European tour including dates in 12 countries.

The concerts are as follows:

Sheffield Arena (4 November)

Liverpool Echo Arena (5 November)

Glasgow SECC (9 November)

Birmingham NIA (10 November)

London O2 Arena (12-13 November)
