Neil Young to play Glastonbury

Neil Young will headline this year's Ise Of Wight festival

Neil Young has been announced as the third headliner this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The Canadian has been confirmed to appear by the festival's organisers.

He will join Bruce Springsteen and Blur in headlining the Pyramid stage at this year's sold out event which, takes place between 26-28 June.

On the booking organiser Michael Eavis said: "Neil Young to play this year is a dream come true for me personally."

As previously reported, Neil Young will also play at this year's Isle Of Wight festival.
