Neil Young will headline this year's Ise Of Wight festival

Neil Young will headline the final night of this year's Isle of Wight Festival.

The Canadian will close the main stage on the event's concluding Sunday night.

This year's festival takes place between 12-14 July at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight.

Young joins a host of acts already confirmed to play including The Ting Tings, The Prodigy, Pendulum, Stereophonics, Razorlight and Basement Jaxx.

The star is also heavily rumoured to be joining Bruce Springsteen and Blur as a Pyramid stage headliner as this year's Glastonbury Festival in June.
