Eels announce brand new album

Eels' Mark 'E' Everett recorded the LP in his studio

Eels have announced details of a brand new album.

Hombre Lobo, the band's first album of new material in four years, is released on 2 June.

The follow up to 2005's Blinking Lights And Other Revelations was recorded in lead singer Mark 'E' Everett's studio in Los Angeles.

The band issued their Best Of in 2008 alongside book Things The Grandchildren Should Know.

Last year, E was the subject of a BBC documentary Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives which followed his search for information about his astringed father.
