Brendon Urie from Panic At The Disco

Panic At The Disco have announced that guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker have left the band with immediate effect.

Lead singer Brendan Urie and drummer Spencer Smith are the remaining two members of the Las Vegas outfit.

A statement on PATD's official website said: "Sometimes individual tastes take friends in different directions and you can't ignore it.

"That said, Panic At The Disco is alive and very very well."

Urie and Smith are to continue working on new material and are expected to fulfil their touring commitments with Blink 182 this summer in the US.

The departed members will work on writing new songs together for a new project.
